Warm Water, Tropical Adventure, Uncrowded Waves. This is Surfer Paradise.
Open since 1998 and located on a small private island off the coast of Panama (Central America),
it is a paradise worth discovering!
The Surfer Paradise Surf Camp is actually two islands. One being the big island and then a smaller outer island. The big island has the living accommodations. Private cabanas are located on the side of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, each with your very own hammock for that afternoon siesta. Water is supplied by a fresh water spring that is used for drinking and showering. There are left breaks, and right breaks. Beginner breaks, experienced breaks, and advanced surfer breaks.

Located in the Province of Chiriqui in the Republic of Panama. Chiriqui is the nearest province next to Costa Rica. It is located on a private island off the coast of Panama about 5 miles.

Surf Lessons we offer:
Beginner Surf Lessons
Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes Surfboard. Student ratio is 1:3 The lessons are taught in waist deep water. You will learn everything from standing techniques to turning and finally paddling to the outside and learn how to catch unbroken waves. Kids lessons are available at this level.
Private Surf Lessons
Our lessons are 2 hours per day and includes Surfboard. Student ratio is 1:1 The lessons are taught in waist deep water. You will learn everything from standing techniques to turning and finally paddling to the outside and learn how to catch unbroken waves. Kids lessons are available at this level.
Yoga
We offer lessons under the giant palapa. Classes are twice per day (mornings and late afternoons.

Best trip in my life
Awesome spot, lonely beaches, great waves, delicious food at every meal(also vegetarian options... Yummy) beautiful views, great people... it felt like a family, friendly stuff
On the island it was calm and beautiful, going through the island with both or buggy, depending on low and high tide, snorkeling, swimming in clear, warm, water, exploring different islands with a waterfall, hanging around at the camp and playing cards, such a good, unforgettable, amazing time! ❤️

Epic Time at the Camp!
Had an amazing time at the island! Great food, choice waves and amazing people. We were very fortunate to have choice waves all week! Best part... empty lineups!
Our surf guide could shred and charge, knew his spots and when/where to be considering swell direction and tides. The man even sacrificed catching waves to jump in the water to take photos of us charging P-Land and Left Overs. So very appreciative!! We were also so happy for the amazing captain who'd take us out daily. Not only was he super fun but a great fisherman who would troll for fresh fish for dinner while we surfed some clean, empty, over head waves.
Our guide was also extremely knowledgeable about the area and took us to some remote islands to hike, enjoy private beaches, coves and even took us to the beautiful rock structure which we climbed to watch the sunsetting. Absolutely breathtaking. On our jungle hike we saw yellow monkeys in the trees and tons of wild life. We went diving the reefs and our guide was spearfishing for dinner. Honestly, couldn't have asked for a better trip.
The accomodations were private, clean and comfortable. Staff treated us so well and by the end of the 2nd day it felt like we were all family having dinner around the table and playing card games at night. The chef did a wonderful job preparing amazing Panamanian dishes. It was so nice coming back from the morning surf sesh and having a hot plate of typical food. She also took care of us vegetarians making sure we had alternatives for those meals centered around meat and chicken. So many fresh fruits and veggies on the island...loved those home-grown pineapples!
This defenitely was a special trip and made more so not just by the amazing surf but the staff at the island. Looks like we found a new spot for our annual retreat. Thanks again everyone! Can't wait to see and surf with you all again!

How do you imagine The Paradise?.. well it EXISTS!
How do you imagine The Paradise?.. well it EXISTS! It is The Surfer Paradise.
I was back 3 days ago and I'm still dreaming about it.. I think I will do it for the rest of the year!
A place that seems in a parallel reality, an oasis surrounded by every kind of natural beauty you can image, and... SURF SURF SURF in totally uncrowded spots still hidden and unexplored!
Leave whatever is superfluous .. you will only need a Bikini adapt to surf, your surfboard and a good repellent for mosquitos than Raul the Master, Jose, Alexis and Yanaijra (the chef) will think about your staying in Paradise!
I found it for error and has been the best mistake of my life. You can Write to Steve the owner and the discoverer and founder of those surf spot in the paradise, he will organize everything for you in a very simple way and send you all the necessary information.
Once in the port the adventure stars. You will navigate on a river in the mangroves until join the Paradise. Jose and Yanaira will wait for you to take care about cooking and bring you by boat in the unexplored spot on the different islands around the area.. animals in the water.. unbelievable sunsets.. you will feel in the set of a movie .. or surfing while you feel to be in Jurassic Park .
