Playa Maderas is probably the best surf spot around San Juan, its one of the most consistent spot in the area with perfect waves that sometimes get hollow. Working super good on both small and medium swells.
The outside section is good for intermediate surfers that wants to improve their surf as well its perfect for advances surfer that looking to show off their skills.
The inside section reform and just perfect for beginners.
you can find many beginners there having their first surf lesson as this spot provide a perfect set up for people who looking as well to learn how to surf.
Type of waves: beach break, rights and lefts (picky waves), best tide its mid to high and high to mid low

Playa Remanso

The best spot for begginers or intermediate. This spot offer amazing waves for longboards and funboards who looking to have a lot of fun and surfing on nice long wave. Most of the year the waves are mellow but when a bigger swell comes this is spot turn very good for advances surfers.

Type waves: beach break, rights and lefts, best tide mid tide and high, rocky beach.

Playa Hermosa

This surf spot is suitable for all levels, Playa Hermosa stretches for 3.5 km of sandy beach that along this beautiful stretch of coast you can find 5 to 7 peaks that you can surf on, small and medium swell are perfect for Hermosa.
This is a very good surf spot to learn how to surf as the inside section have a nice reform that is good for beginners and the outside section offer a very fun walls for left and right and even sometimes some tubes for intermediate and advance surfers.
In the dirt road on the way to the beach, you can find our beautiful flora, exotic animals "Monkeys, Lizards, Guardabarrancos, etc.",

Playa Yankee
Level: Intermediate
Playa Yankee is located 30 to 35 mins away from Selina Surf Club Casa Maderas.
One of the strongest surf spots in San Juan del Sur area, that break the best on mid to high tide. This surf spot is more suitable for advance surfers, the main peak here offer a left wedge that in the right condition for this spot can offer some amazing left hand tubes. A bit further north you can find a right that break sometimes but only on low tide.

- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due to the property 7 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 7 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS Check-in is at 3 pm. If you arrive in the early morning you'll be more than welcome to chill in the common spaces, have some breakfast, use all of our facilities or just store your luggage with us and go exploring around the town while you wait for your room to be ready Check out is at 11 am, but we will keep your bags for free all day long if you need us to Smoking is not allowed inside bedrooms. In case you omit this rule $300 USD fine will be applied for smoking. AGE RESTRICTIONS Guests must be 18 years or older to stay in shared dorms. Please ask us for our children policy Please ask us for our pets policy CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations or modifications must be made by 3:00 pm (in your destination’s time zone) at least 1 day prior to arrival. Cancellations made after the given period and no-shows will incur a one-night cancellation fee, plus tax. BOOKING CONDITIONS To fully confirm the booking we ask for a credit card number as guarantee. A deposit will be charged to this credit card (30%) and the rest can be paid upon check in. Until the deposit is not charged, the booking is not confirmed. This deposit will be refundable if cancellation policies apply. CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION During HOLIDAYS, BANK HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS, cancellations / modifications are free of charge up to 15 DAYS prior your arrival. After that, we will charge your credit card with 100% of the surf camp (including tax). Cancellations / Modifications are free of charge prior to 7 DAYS days before your check-in date the rest of the year. After that, the surf package will be non-refundable and you will be charged with 100% of the surf package. In case of No-show, 100% of the surf package will be charged to your credit card. We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave. Same applies for our surf equipment. Different cancellation/modification policies apply for groups.
