Make the most of your surf holiday in Lagos by partaking in some retail therapy, bagging some bargains cheaper than at home.



1. THE OLD TOWN, LAGOS
The city centre of Lagos concentrates more on the tourist aspect of shopping and will give you unlimited momentos to take home from your Algarve holiday. Needless to say there are plenty of great surf shops, reflecting this part of the Algarve as a one of the main surf spots in Europe. They stock all the latest swimwear, wetsuits, boards and accessories.
Street are lined with shops selling everything from fridge magnets to Algarve T-shirts, so you will never be stuck for presents to take home. Calzedonia, Intimissimi (for great bikinis) and Parfois (fab hangbag and accessories shop) are the biggest names here.
 
2. AQUA, PORTIMAO
Just 15 minutes by car or bus east of Lagos is Aqua, opened in 2011, this partial open air outlet has more than 110 shops over two floors including Primark, Mango, H&M and Haviana and many more European outlets. On the top floor is a part outdoor food hall, with MacDonalds for the fast foodie, all you can eat Chinese, sandwich bars and traditional Portuguese Cuisine.
 
3. ALGARVE SHOPPING, GUIA
Probably the biggest shopping centre in the Algarve, situated just outside of Albufeira, about a 40 minute car journey from Lagos. This is a full day out to make the most of your retail therapy.
Two full floors dedicated to shops such as Zara, Mango, Pull & Bear, Levi's and Sports Zone amongst many others. There is a 5 screen cinema showing all movies in their original language with Portuguese sub-titles . A massive food hall with fast food outlets MacDonalds and KFC, as well as local Portuguese restaurants and bars.
