Ericeira local Gonçalo Forjaz Trigueiros has been capturing photos of his town for the last 5 years. 

We met up with him last week in Ericeira to see some of his new photos of his home town. He told us:

" I love Ericeira because of its beautiful beaches and location where the high cliffs of the rocky coast meet the Atlantic Ocean. People´s hospitality, the picturesque squares, the characteristic small white and blue houses, the Atlantic views, the harbour and the fishing boats all make it so special. And the local cuisine – especially the fish and seafood. It was named as the first World Surfing Reserve in Europe in 2011 and still retains all the charm or a traditional old town."
