The Villa das Rosas is a small estate in the center of Sintra, with a 3500m2 area. Its edification dates the XIX century and maintains the spirit of its time while ensuring the comfort and the necessary conditions for a modern tourist operation that offers a pleasant stay all year round. The place was completely restored, maintaining the same charm and delicacy of the original design in the home, garden and surrounding areas. We hope you can fully enjoy all the natural beauty of Sintra to UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992 to known for its extensive green spaces and impressive historic monuments.
Villa das Rosas has several integrated buildings, placed between the green spaces that fill the entire property. For us the most important, is to create a harmony between leisure and comfort and to ensure privacy for our guests. In the main house, embellished with XIX century tiles, laid throughout the hall and the breakfast room, together with a very pleasant fireplace room fully recovered, are at your disposal 5 double rooms, divided by three floors of the house. Outside the building there is a separate unit, we call it the Rustic Room, with a kitchenette and allocation for 4 people. All rooms are spacious and bright, comfortable and with modern decoration, combined with antiques and restored furniture.
Location
Besides all the activities that can be performed in the Villa das Rosas, located 100 meters from the Centro de Arte Moderna (Centre of Modern Art) and Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval (Olga Cadaval Cultural Center), and very close to the historic center of Sintra town, the Villa das Rosas provides innumerous trips opportunities.
Sintra is only a few miles from several surf beaches with an incomparable beauty, such as the "Praia Grande", "Praia das Maçãs", "Praia da Adraga" and "Ribeira das Ilhas", all included on the route of several Surf and Bodyboard championships.

ROSES ROOM
The Roses Room is located on the top floor of the house and offers views of the entire northern part of the garden and pool. With its large sofa bed allows accommodating up to four people. Decorated in shades of pink, which contrasts with the timber walls, allows a comfortable and cozy stay.

The Garden Suite offers space and tranquility and is located in the southern part of the garden. This room was decorated with a comfortable and modern spirit in shades between blues, crèmes and whites and has a little room with its own entrance from the garden, offering all the privacy and comfort.

THE ARCHES'S ROOM
The Arches's Room is a smaller double bedroom, situated in the southern part of the garden with a link to the Garden Suite, but with a separate entrance. For this reason, it is perfect for a couple with children or to rent together with the Garden Suite.The 2 bedrooms are provided with an exit to a cosy nook, created in the garden with sofas and a table, for you to enjoy the calm and fresh breeze of a late afternoon in Sintra! The Arches Room can be rented independently, being a little cheaper than a standard double bedroom.

THE MOON ROOM
The Moon Room is a smaller double room, situated on the first floor of the recently renovated Stone House “Casa da Pedra”. The Stone House includes the Stone Suite, the Iris Room and the Moon Room. The house is perfect for a family or a group of 6 or 8 people, since it has a kitchen and dining area, in addition to the bedrooms. But the rooms can also be rented separately, being the Moon Room more economic than a normal double bedroom.

THE IRIS ROOM
The Iris Room is a twin room (with 2 single beds), located on the first floor of the recently renovated Stone House "Casa da Pedra". The house is perfect for a family or a group of 6 or 8 people, since it has a kitchen and dining area, in addition to the bedrooms. The rooms can also be rented separately, being the Iris Room rented as a Twin bedroom.

THE STONE SUITE
The Stone Suite is our family purposed suite which is located in the recently restored Stone House "Casa da Pedra". The Stone house includes the Stone Suite, the Iris Room and The Moon Room. The house is perfect for a family or a group of 6 or 8 people, since it has a kitchen and dining area, in addition to the bedrooms. It is in the Stone Suite where we find a kitchen, fully equipped, and the dining area as well as a double bed, plus a sofa bed, allowing up to 4 people to sleep confortably. Since it is very spacious and very comfortable, it allows people to rent all the amenities of a home with the luxuries of a hotel service! The Stone House lies right in front of the pool and garden.

Sintra's two main beaches are Praia das Macas and Praia Grande. Both are perfect beginner/intermediate beaches and are some of the most consistent surf beaches in the whole Lisbon-Sintra area. North and South of these beaches are many small coves and beautiful hidden beaches that provide any exploring surfer with plenty to get excited about!
Close by is Praia Guincho, a spectacular long beach with different peaks, perfect for learning and can get big and windy in the afternoon, so morning is always the best bet here.
Ericeira is only 30 minutes drive and is definitely worth a day trip at least, it has dozens of surf beaches to offer including the famous point break Ribeira D'Ilhas and also the relaibale beach break Foz do Lizandro.
Further South is Cascais and Lisbon with an endless supply of different surf beaches for all standards.
