Surf Racer is a Surf, Skate and Kitesurf House in North Shore Peru.
Our Surf House with everything needed for a water and board sport holidays: we offer surfing, kitesurfing, wing, skate and SUP rentals, lessons, coaching and trips! Everything, in one place and... with no crowds. Our Surf Camp is located just steps from one of the best to uncrowded to waves in the area, far enough to avoid Mancora crowds, but 15 minutes if you want to go party one night.

We have the only skate bowl in the North Shore and have skates and protections available for our guests!
We also provide high speed satelital internet, so digital nomads... make our Surf House your base digital office.

We offer Surf lessons for kids, minimum age 6 years old. Our place is great for families.
Beginner Surf Lessons
Lessons will be adapted to every person´s experience and level and you will work together with your instructor on a lesson plan and progression.
All equipment is included: brand new wetsuits, leashes and boards (soft or hard board, depending on level and requirements).
We work with a ratio of 3 students / 1 Instructor.
Our Instructors speak fluent English and Spanish.
Intermediate Surf Lessons
Lessons will be adapted to every person´s experience and level and you will work together with your instructor on a lesson plan and progression.
All equipment is included: brand new wetsuits, leashes and boards (soft or hard board, depending on level and requirements).
We work with a ratio of 3 students / 1 Instructor.
Our Instructors speak fluent English and Spanish.
Advanced Surf Lessons
Lessons will be adapted to every person´s experience and level and you will work together with your instructor on a lesson plan and progression.
You will practice directly in the line-up, catching green waves with one of our Instructors, who will coach you about positioning to catch the wave, reading the swell, paddling, duck dive or turtle and take off and riding.

Surf Guide
We provide Surf guide and days trips to different waves. This is our "Surf & Stay Package" and includes day trips. We will surf in the best spot, depending the day´s forecast, swell direction and surfers experience.

- A small deposit is required to secure your booking.
- Your balance is due to the property 15 days before arrival. The Property will contact you to collect payment. If you book within this 15 days then the property will contact you shortly after you book to collect the balance.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- To cancel go to the MyAccount section and log in or register and you can cancel from within your account.
- Your deposit is non refundable but can be used for the same property/surf school within one year of your original booking.
- The reservation will be confirmed once the guest/s has paid the 50% advanced deposit. There is no refund of this 50% advance deposit in case the guest/s decide/s to cancel the reservation (for any reason), but the reservation can be rescheduled to a future date if clients notify up to 7 days before check-in date. If clients notify 7 days or less before check-in, it’s not possible to reschedule your reservation and no refunds will be given. Thanks for your understanding.

How did you like the accommodation?
We stayed at Surf racer house last November to kitesurf and surf in beautiful Mancora. I can’t say enough positive feedback about the hospitality, food, and the waves. The house is very nice, located right across from a point break. The instructor helped me with my surf skills and I caught my longest and biggest wave ever. The food is amazing, Octavio should really be a professional chef. The food was always fresh, delicious and presentation was that of a 5 star restaurant. We were taken to many different places to surf and kitesurf different breaks. It was really a kitesurfing and surfing paradise.

Only good things to say about my time at the Surf Racer House in Peru's North Shore. Chelu & Octavio have created the perfect combination of surf, yoga & relaxation accompanied by excellent food.
This is the perfect environment to focus on your surf and disconnect. Learning to surf was my favorite part but also really enjoyed the Peruvian inspired dishes, chilling on the hammock & exploring the beach. Shout out to the whole Surf Racer House crew - thanks for a wonderful week!

How did you like the accommodation?
I had a great time with Chelu, Octavio and the crew. I am a beginning surfer and the the conditions were perfect for learning: warm water, consistent waves that were certainly big enough for me (and more experienced surfers!) to get in trouble with but easy to modulate for what I was working on, a great instructor (Bernardo!) who taught carefully and systematically, and a relaxing, laid back atmosphere with great company, food and accommodations to rest and recover from the morning sessions. There were at most two or three other surfers at the location besides ourselves. I would say the conditions are ideal for surfers of all levels.
I would also say that besides the surfing, the atmosphere and camaraderie at the house and was one of the best aspects of the trip. There were a couple of other travelers taking lessons, and a rotation of new people during my short stay. We went to the ocean together and spent time becoming friends during the shared meals and activities - walking on the beach, heading over to the next town over, the yoga lessons, celebrating New Year's Eve, or just playing cards or conversation over meals. There was also enough space to nap, read, etc or otherwise be on your own. Everyone was from diverse backgrounds and were open to listening and learning. My sense is that the somewhat remote location and the surfing attracts a certain type of person who is willing to go off the beaten path, has a healthy respect and appreciation for the ocean and nature, and eagerness to practice and learn and be immersed, figuratively and literally. I wished I could have stayed longer. I missed the crew when I left.
The accommodations were excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served, all fresh, cooked on the premises, with plenty of variety and genuine Peruvian cuisine. Vegan/vegetarians had no trouble, and there was plenty for omnivores like myself. Bathrooms were shared, but this was not an issue at all. The weather was mild desert. In December it is generally a little overcast in the morning, with sun in the afternoon and perhaps some rain in the night. I wore shorts during the days, and longer pants at night. I would recommend finding a good zinc sunscreen and apply a lot of it during the sessions. The equatorial sun can be very intense even with cloud cover.
The location is ideal for a retreat. The house is about 45 mins drive from the Talara airport and it is easy to find flights from Lima on LATAM. I would recommend flying in the night before and leaving in the afternoon/evening of the last day, so that you have a chance to do a lesson in the morning. Transportation to and from the airport is provided, as well as the daily drive to the break, about 20-25 mins on a dirt road by the ocean. This drive was a treat, as there is lots of wildlife and scenery. The nearest town with significant facilities (supermarkets, stores, resort, restaurants/clubs) is about 25 mins away drive. The house itself has a secure fence around it. Cell service is fine. There is WiFi/internet, if a little spotty sometimes, as it is throughout Peru. This was fine, as in my opinion the experience was improved by the lack of distractions from the outside world.

How did you like the accommodation?
I had a wonderful time and learned a ton at Surf Racer House. The schedule was great, surf in morning after breakfast, then kitesurfing after lunch, and a yoga session just before dinner. Chelu is an excellent kiteboarding instructor, she explained everything very clearly. Octavio and I went out surfing in the mornings and he gave me some very helpful tips that improved my technique and allowed me to drop in sideways on a breaking wave for the first time instead of only going towards the shore. The food was exceptional, traditional homemade Peruvian dishes with fantastic presentation, Octavio is an excellent chef. Overall an amazing surf camp, you u will not be disappointed.

How did you like the accommodation?
I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at this truly world-class destination in December. Everything I experienced was beyond all of my expectations. From the moment of arriving at the airport to the day I left, I was completely thrilled. The waves, wind, knowledge of local waves, location, food, hospitality, accommodations, skateboard bowl, and the overall amazing vibe was an UNREAL EXPERIENCE!!!
The accommodations are amazing! Super comfortable beds and an amazing endless view of the Pacific Ocean from the bedrooms is breathtaking. The night sky is filled with a billion stars. Each daily meal was incredible — amazing healthy selections each day, and wonderful wine with dinner each night. The meals were so perfectly prepared! Every meal was a new adventure in perfection.
The surf house location is amazing. Endless selection of surf breaks, kite surf location, safe, warm water, point breaks, beach breaks, and everything in between is true surfer and kite surfers dream. Their local knowledge of which breaks are best each day was amazing. I surfed some of the best waves of my life! I have traveled around the world in search of perfect waves, perfect wind, and warm water, the surf house, and Northern Peru provided some of the best waves I have ever surfed!
If you are kitesurfer, this is a destination you must experience. Every day, the wind was the perfect direction. If you love to ride waves while kitesurfing, this is a dream destination. Warm water and the perfect wind is always a dream for a kitesurfer.
I cannot wait to return to the surf house and Northern Peru again. I will only stay at the surf house. The entire staff at the surf house is amazing. Gracious, wonderful, always with a smile, they make you feel welcomed and part of their family.
